Lakuyo does not need to match gateway-fee monetisation in Phase 1. Optional PSP integration (Phase 3, POS-015) can explore gateway-linked revenue for merchants who opt in.

paper.id

Source: Sonny Wibisono — current user (31 Aug 2026).

  • Free product; revenue from card / payment-gateway transaction fees.
  • Originally aimed at restaurants.
  • Merchants outside restaurants often use invoice + payment gateway.
  • Feature set described as basic accounting only.

Takeaways

  1. Free core must feel genuinely usable — not a demo that pushes gateway signup.
  2. Manual cash / EDC / static QRIS paths (POS-005) remain first-class; do not force PSP onboarding.
  3. Phase 1 reporting stays operational (sales, stock) — not full bookkeeping.
  4. Restaurant flows remain Phase 3; paper.id’s resto focus is a later competitive axis, not Phase 1 scope.

Moka

Source: Pricool — fee comparison question (31 Aug 2026).

Merchants compare total cost (subscription + transaction fees). Lakuyo’s answer for starters:

  • Rp0 recurring for single-device core POS + Inventory.
  • Pay Lakuyo for backup convenience (one-time) or cloud/multi-device (Pro) — not for the right to sell offline.
  • Integrated PSP fees, when offered, must be transparent and optional (POS-015).

Gateway-fee model (Doku SME class)

Source: Andre Prasetya — same monetisation pattern as paper.id card fees.

Useful reference when evaluating PSP partnerships later. Not a replacement for Lakuyo’s subscription/one-time app monetisation model.

Platform advice (same thread)

Andre Prasetya initially recommended deferring Mac/Windows and staying mobile-only. Founders revised this: Lakuyo ships Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows together per phase (ADR-003). Android POS terminals remain supported via the Android client.
